Work•Rhythm is a Windows desktop application. This Privacy Policy explains how Work•Rhythm handles user information.
Local-first design
Work•Rhythm is designed as a local-first application. Work•Rhythm itself does not require users to create or sign in to a Work•Rhythm account. Under normal use, it does not collect, upload, sell, or rent personal information.
Information stored locally
Work•Rhythm may process and store information locally on the user's device, including work schedules and time records created through the application, application settings and preferences, and local usage data required for Work•Rhythm features and Insights.
This information remains on the user's device and is not transmitted to Work•Rhythm or its developer.
Microsoft Store purchases
Work•Rhythm may use Microsoft Store services to provide purchases and verify licenses for optional paid features such as Work•Rhythm Pro. Payment, purchase, account, and licensing information associated with Microsoft Store transactions is processed by Microsoft according to Microsoft's own privacy policies. Work•Rhythm does not receive or store users' payment card information.
Data sharing
Work•Rhythm does not sell, rent, or share users' locally stored Work•Rhythm data with third parties.
Data storage
Work•Rhythm settings, schedules, time records, and related application data are stored locally on the user's Windows device. Users can remove locally stored application data by uninstalling the application and removing its local application data.
Internet access
Some features may communicate with Microsoft services when required for Microsoft Store licensing, purchases, or related Windows functionality. Work•Rhythm does not use these connections to upload users' work schedules or time records to the developer.
Children's privacy
Work•Rhythm does not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes to this policy
This Privacy Policy may be updated if Work•Rhythm's features or data practices change. Any updated policy will reflect the current handling of user information.
